Anita Ward
Anita Ward is one of the best ‘one hit wonders’ of disco era. In 1979 she was number 1 with one of the biggest disco hits RING MY BELL. Anita imposed her different style and voice on this song, making it a real classic. Although having more hits, it’s quite interesting to listen DON’T DROP MY LOVE and the side b of RING MY BELL single: IF I COULD FEEL THAT OLD FEELING AGAIN.
After all that success she just recorded another album in 1989 and then decided to quit singing. Now she is a teacher like she used to be before singing.
